Après avoir présenté les pratiques sportives avant la Révolution, le parcours s’intéresse ensuite à l’émergence et à la structuration du sport tel qu’on le connaît aujourd’hui, par la préparation physique des militaires, puis l’encadrement de la jeunesse et la promotion des entreprises, avant la généralisation et la démocratisation de la pratique sportive dans l’ensemble de la population, avec le relais des associations.
Cette exposition est à découvrir du 13 mai au 13 décembre 2024 aux Archives départementales de la Haute-Marne :
les lundis de 14 heures à 16h45
les mardi et mercredi de 9 heures à 18 heures
et les jeudi et vendredi de 9 heures à 16h45
L'exposition comprend également une partie itinérante consacrée aux portraits de champions et de championnes de Haute-Marne; elle sera présentée hors-les-murs, dans des communes traversées par la flamme olympique le 28 juin 2024. Langres, Chaumont, Nogent, Froncles et Saint-Dizier accueilleront ainsi chacune les portraits des champions ayant un lien avec leur territoire (ville d’origine, club…).
