Promenez-vous et découvrez une exposition visible sur le chemin de ronde des remparts de Langres.
En 2020, le Service Patrimoine Pays d’art et d’histoire a édité une publication FOCUS sur l’histoire de l’enceinte urbaine de Langres. Elle est complétée du 1er juin jusqu’au 9 octobre, par une exposition gratuite accessible sur le chemin de ronde.
Installée entre la tour Saint-Ferjeux et la tour Michaux , elle propose au visiteur d’agrémenter sa découverte des remparts d’informations historiques. En 12 panneaux, l’enceinte urbaine est abordée, depuis sa création en réaction aux grandes migrations du milieu du IIIe siècle jusqu’à nos jours. Illustrée de vues anciennes, d’hypothèses de restitutions en 3D et de photos d’éléments inaccessibles, cette exposition propose une synthèse complète de l’évolution des fortifications du centre historique.
Le FOCUS « L’enceinte urbaine du IIIe au XXIe siècle » est toujours en vente dans la boutique des Musées de Langres et à l’Office de Tourisme du Pays de Langres. Associé au FOCUS « La citadelle », il balaye l’histoire des 8 km de la plus grande enceinte d’Europe.
